WOODSEATS COMMUNITY FESTIVAL

6TH-12TH JULY 2009

Welcome to Woodseats Community Festival

Woodseats Festival is an annual celebration of all that the community of Woodseats has to offer, and in 2009 it will be bigger and better than ever, with a whole week of fun and entertainment taking place from Monday 6th until Sunday 12th July.

There are loads of new festival events taking place this year, including a Best Garden Competition and a Literary Evening. Once again you can visit the popular Craft Fair and Art Exhibition, and the Festival will finish in spectacular carnival-style fashion, with a Grand Community Parade through the streets, and Family Fun Day, with stalls, rides, activities and stage performances at Woodseats School. Find out more about Festival Events on the What's On page - More are being added all the time!

Members of the Woodseats Festival Group are all volunteers from the local community and welcome anyone who wants to get involved or offer their support. For meeting dates click here, or contact the festival group directly.

Come along and join in the fun!

We’re proud of our local community and we want to parade down the streets and shout (and whistle, and bang drums) about it!

Once again you are invited to come and join the grand parade as it makes its way from Abbey Lane to Woodseats School for the start of the Festival's Family Funday. We've ordered the sunshine and this year's themes will be Woodseats Wildlife and Aliens! Gather in front of Abbey Lane School from 11.30am.
