Get involved in the Woodseats Festival in 2012. Here's How:
Pubs/Clubs/Restaurants
Can you host an event during festival week? We'll publicise it here on the website, and in the festival programme, which is distributed to thousands of homes in the area. Contact to offer your support.
Traders and Businesses
Can you sponsor a festival event? Or why not open up to meet the crowds on the parade day? You'll be mixing with S8's finest!
Clubs and Societies
Do you run a club or society? Want to raise your profile and increase your membership? Why not book a stall at the festival's family funday, or even take a slot on the festival stage and show us what you can do. Please contact for more details.
Volunteers
Can you help steward the festival parade? Want to get involved in organising festival events? Can you take memorable photographs for our website and posters? Please get in touch, we'd love to hear from you!
The friendly Woodseats Festival Group meets regularly at Woodseats Methodist Church on Holmhirst Road.
Why not come along and see how you can help?
We are very grateful to Woodseats Methodist Church for allowing us to use their rooms for our meetings. Everyone is welcome!
THANK-YOU!
Once again we have a big list of people to thank for making Woodseats Festival happen:
- To Sheffield City Council South Community Assembly and Sainsbury's for their financial support.

- To Inspector Ian Stubbs and Woodseats PCSOs – For their support of the community parade
- To Woodseats School – for kindly letting us use the school yard once again for our Family Funday, and for the use of the school dining hall for this year's Craft Fair, and of the school yard for the Car Boot Sale!
- To Abbey Lane School and Woodseats School - for their support in running parade workshops
- To Woodseats Library - for hosting festival events
- To Mike Firth and the Active8 team, for their ongoing support of the festival.
- To all the musicians, singers, performers and dancers - who are appearing free of charge at the festival

Festival Raffle
The festival raffle is a vital way for us to raise funds, and to ensure that the festival can continue on to next year and beyond.
We hope that you'll do your bit to support us too by buying a raffle ticket. Priced at just 50 pence tickets will be available from the middle of June from local traders, and at festival stalls outside Tesco in July. You'll also be able to buy tickets at the Family Funday, on Sunday 10th July, where the draw will be taking place in the afternoon.
There are lots and lots of ways to contribute to the festival and we will warmly welcome your input and enthusiasm.
